A relatively new entrant in the dynamic Leimert Park cultural scene, Nappily Naturals was founded by husband and wife team, Umaar Askia and Sharon Williams-Askia in the fall of 2018. They came to the realization that there weren't enough culturally inspired NATURAL beauty and health stores in their community so they took it upon themselves to address the gap. At the heart of their business is the belief that men and women have an inherent duty to care for self, love self, and heal self based on collective knowledge and our boundless African ancestral spirit. They will bring this mission to our Healing Holiday Marketplace as part of Found LA next week, through a demonstration that brings together essential ingredients that inspire a joyful life.
