Development Coordinator

Reports to: Development and Communications Manager

Status: Part-time, hourly, 20 hours/week

LA Commons started its first public programs in 2003 as a fiscally sponsored project of Community Partners. Since then we’ve been committed to sharing the stories of community members and collaborating to create art for public spaces, as the basis for dialogue, interaction and a shared understanding of our Los Angeles. Our artistic and cultural programs reflect the unique character of diverse neighborhoods and give residents, particularly young people, a voice and an on-ramp to making positive changes in our home communities in Central and South Los Angeles and across the region.

Today we are a growing, highly collaborative and supportive team working to extend and deepen our relationships with youth, artists, community partners, funding partners and supporters. Friendly and hard-working, we value open communication, ambition, and asking good questions. We appreciate new challenges and feel lucky to take them on together with each other and our network of partners and allies.
