Join Us At Manifest: Justice

To Explore Art in Social Justice Movements

May 7th, 6:30PM

We have partnered with the amazing team at Manifest:Justice to host Art At Work in Social Justice Movements. Speakers will include artists including the incredibly talented graphic designer and cultural organizer Favianna Rodriguez, and photographer and filmmaker Angela Boatwright. Join us for an exciting evening of dialogue and artmaking blending art and activitism and a focus on how we can use our creativity to fight injustice. Our Day of the Ancestors: Festival of Masks this year will honor this same struggle. See below for details.

Also part of the evening will be film including a screening of Participant Media’s film “3 1/2 Minutes, Ten Bullets” about the shooting and killing of Jordan Davis.
