The Network in Solidarity with the People of Guatemala (NISGUA) presents their 2013 speaker series, now coming to Los Angeles, featuring the leader of the Association for Justice and Reconciliation (AJR), Mr. Anselmo Roldán Aguilar.

Originally from the Ixcán region in northern Guatemala, Mr. Roldán has took part in forming AJR as well as formally filing charges not only against Ríos Montt, but also former Guatemalan dictator Romeo Lucas García and their high commands for genocide and crimes against humanity. Their most recent efforts include participating in the trial against Ríos Montt, who, as of this past May, has been sentenced to 80 years in prison. Now is your chance to hear his story, as well as the story of other survivors of genocide.

Donations from the tour will go to the AJR in support of truth and justice in Guatemala.
