What is FandangObon?

FandangObon is an event that explores music and dance traditions of Fandango from Veracruz, Mexico, Obon from Japanese Buddhist, and Egungun from African Yoruban tradition.

Join Nobuko Miyamoto, Quetzal Flores and Martha Gonzalez from the Mexican band, Quetzal, Najite Agindotan, and the communities of Boyle Heights, Leimert Park, and Sustainable Little Tokyo, for this part “eco-fest” part community flash mob event.

What should I bring?
